Creative Activities Based Enhancement of Word Power Skills in English: A Number of Deliberations

Abstract


This research paper attempts to demarcate besides outlining the creative activities based enhancement of word power skills in English. Vocabulary means a set of words in a language. Vocabulary mostly cultivates and educes through the phase, and supports in the acquirement of knowledge and understanding. Vocabulary comprises distinct words, parts of words, compound words, fixed phrases and idiomatic expressions etc. Vocabulary growth in mother tongue happens somewhat logically as a learner is encircled with incalculable words at home. Mounting language in second language consequently necessitates accepted contents and examples as well. Vocabulary serves as an important input for enhancing language learning in the classroom. Instructors need to know how to select an age appropriate words exercise and the various techniques of teaching of vocabulary and enabling learners to be a good speaker in an interactive way. This will be helpful in training the learners to use the words with understanding in their speech and writing, to understand and use the language chunks, to use words in right context, to construct sentences and speak fluently with the correct use of words. Learner will like and appreciate the terms that match their age and language level correspondingly.
