Mockingbirds of India: Dalit Violence, Honor Killing and the identity politics in post-colonial Uttar Pradesh from 1990- 2015

[Abstract: This paper seeks to investigate the scenario of Post-colonial Uttar Pradesh mainly from 1990-2015 taking the caste atrocities happened in that state as the outcome of moribund socio-political environment. Especially, the inhuman practice like honor killings have gradually become a dominant social evil even in this post-technocratic world. In this article I have made an attempt to find the causes behind these killings and analyze the nature of identity politics in Uttar Pradesh]
